Natasha didn't set out to become an audiologist. She studied health sciences at Western University with a focus on biology, picked up a minor in French, and went on to complete a Bachelor of Education with the intention of teaching high school biology and French.
Two things changed that course. The first was a part-time job as a client care coordinator at a hearing clinic, which exposed her to audiology as a practice. The second was tutoring a student who had significant hearing challenges, work that made the impact of hearing care concrete and personal in a way the front desk hadn't.
She returned to school, completed a Master of Clinical Science in Audiology, and graduated in 2013.
Natasha began her career inside a large corporate hearing clinic. The model focused on high patient volume, manufacturer relationships that shaped which devices got recommended, and a pace that didn't leave much room for the conversations she believed hearing care actually needed.
She left to practice differently. For four years, she co-owned independent clinics in Oshawa and Stouffville, building care models centred on relationships rather than rushed appointments. That experience confirmed something she'd suspected: that hearing care, done well, is slow work, built on listening to the patient, taking time to understand what they're actually experiencing, and making recommendations grounded in what they actually need.
In 2022, Natasha founded Toronto Hearing Consultants in Bloor West Village, the neighbourhood she lives in. The clinic is independent and audiologist-owned. Recommendations are made based on the patient's hearing, lifestyle, and goals, never on a manufacturer's sales target. The Annex location followed soon after.

Natasha's clinical work spans the full arc of hearing care, from children over the age of 3 through working adults navigating communication challenges to older adults focused on staying socially engaged.
She's seen what happens when hearing loss goes untreated: the gradual withdrawal from group conversations, the decline in confidence at work, the strain on relationships at home. And she's seen what happens when hearing care is delivered well. Young adults entering their careers with the support they need, seniors continuing to share meals and conversations with family, patients who've spent years avoiding restaurants are suddenly able to participate again.
That arc shapes how she approaches every appointment. The work is calm, attentive, and unhurried. Education is part of every visit. Natasha believes patients should leave understanding what their hearing assessment actually means, what their options are, and what each option will and won't do. The decisions are made together. The pressure to decide quickly is left at the door.
Natasha is a resident of Bloor West Village and a working part of the community she serves. She sees patients at both Toronto Hearing Consultants locations: Bloor West Village and the Annex, in established neighbourhoods accessible by transit, where her patients are often her neighbours.
Patients describe the clinics as quiet, welcoming, and unhurried; the kind of small healthcare practice where the audiologist remembers your name, your concerns, and what you talked about at your last visit.
When she's not seeing patients, Natasha is usually exploring Toronto's restaurant scene, reading, listening to podcasts, or keeping up with fashion. She's an avid traveller, and her favourite trip to date was Iceland, with the Amalfi Coast next on the list.
